Brevard County Sheriff’s Battle of the Badges | Parade and Chili Cook-Off

The Brevard County Sheriff’s Office is having a Battle of the Badges Parade and Chili Cook-off on May 12th at 9:oo a.m. with road closures beginning at 8:50 a.m. along the following route listed below:

  • Start: Viera High School
  • Left on Veterans Way > Right on Breslay Drive
  • Right on Tavistock Drive > Right onto Viera Blvd.
  • Right onto Stadium Parkway and finish at the Brevard County Government Complex reflection pool parking lot area.

Parking will be available at the Government complex parking area if you want to walk to the parade route and then attend the cook-off. The  cook-off will begin at 11:00 a.m. and include barbecue, chili and cupcakes. Admission is $10.00 per person; $5.00 per person for first responders; and children ages 10 and under are admitted at no cost to the parent/guardian.

All proceeds benefit the Police Safety Charity, which encompasses the Police Athletic League and Sheriff Pet Posse, first responders charity donations and Grandparents Raising Grandchildren.
