October 15, 2018--Embraer has introduced a pair of new private jets named Praetor 500 and Praetor 600. The Praetor 500 can fly nearly 3,700 miles, more than 300 miles further than the Legacy 450 on which it's based.

August 29, 2018 — "The decision to base the new ship on the Space Coast continues a decades-long relationship and reinforces Carnival Cruise Line’s position as Port Canaveral’s number one cruise operator," according to Port Canaveral spokesperson.

August 31, 2018 — Market research suggests that the aquarium could attract an average of 575,000 people a year, generate an estimated 50,688 nights a year in hotel room rentals, support 675 direct jobs, 262 spinoff jobs and $85.54 million in total economic impact on the area.
