DUDA® was founded in 1926 by Slovak immigrant Andrew Duda and his three sons when they produced their first cash crop of celery.
The Vision for Viera is Born
In the early 1940s, the sons, John, Andrew Jr., and Ferdinand, later collectively known as the “three seniors,” made the decision to purchase the 43,000-acre tract of land in Brevard County that continues to hold special meaning in the Duda family’s heritage. That tract of land is now known as Viera.
